Turning an early-stage idea into an investable product
Hollabox
I helped Hollabox’s founders turn an idea and Photoshop concepts into a product roadmap, user journeys and a working first version, while strengthening the proposition that helped secure an initial £100,000 investment.

Years of involvement–
Back to selected work
The Hollabox founders came to SKYLAB with an idea and a set of Photoshop concepts for a mobile discovery app. I worked with them to turn that early vision into a deliverable product roadmap, tangible user flows and a development plan, while coordinating the specialist team building the first working version.
Alongside the product work, I helped shape the investment proposition and materials needed to present the opportunity credibly to potential backers. By late 2016, Hollabox had secured its first £100,000 of funding to develop version two.
The company launched that next version in 2017 and later attracted investment from Just Eat. Our role had been to help move the founders from concept to something demonstrable, usable and investable.
For me, Hollabox was a good example of the SKYLAB model in practice: combining product thinking, UX, specialist technical delivery and commercial guidance to help an early-stage venture reach its next meaningful milestone.
